Expanding Access and Supporting Communities

Bodhi Kansas City is a new supportive housing community designed to expand access to affordable housing while providing residents with the services they need to thrive. The $16.3 million community delivers 45 thoughtfully designed apartments and on-site supportive services in the heart of midtown Kansas City.

OWN provided civil engineering services for the 3.76-acre development, supporting the creation of six residential buildings, community amenities, walking paths, greenspace, and the supporting site infrastructure. The community offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with affordable housing options for households earning 30% to 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), including dedicated supportive housing units for individuals living with mental illness.

Bodhi was thoughtfully planned to create a welcoming, peaceful environment that promotes stability, connection, and long-term well-being.
