US-65 Grade-Separated Interchange and Route H/HH Relocation
Project Profile:
The Pettis County Interchange is a great example of what happens when multiple teams and offices come together for our clients. This project was initiated to accommodate the increase in truck traffic to/from Sedalia, Missouri’s new Rail Industrial Park, including NuCor Steel’s $400M steel rebar plant.
Starting in 2019, the OWN, Inc. Infrastructure Team supported our client, the Pettis County Commission and the City of Sedalia, with a Governor’s Cost Share Application in 2019. The team was thrilled to have received the largest award in the state – more than $8.2M. Construction began in 2022, and cost a total of $15M. The new interchange will be able to accommodate the increase in truck traffic while allowing other drivers to merge safely on and off the highway.
Not only are those impressive numbers, but OWN was proud to have more than 50 team members involved in bringing this vision to life. It is an all-hands-on-deck approach, crossing several work streams and OWN offices, demonstrating the depth and expertise our integrated teams can bring to the table for clients.
