Project Profile:

High-end homes call for high-end service, long before move-in day.

OWN, Inc. partnered with Summit Homes on Highland Meadows, a 30-acre residential development in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The parcel was divided into 77 lots and would feature “as built” $500k+ homes.

The OWN team’s involvement in the project was extensive, providing the rezoning and preliminary development plan, final plat, construction drainage design, street and stormwater design, water main and sanitary sewer hookups, erosion control, entitlements, public infrastructure, mass grading, and offsite easement acquisition. This project also involved considerable utility coordination – both with electric and gas.

Team members from OWN also attended neighborhood meetings and appeared before the planning commission and City Council side-by-side representatives from Summit Homes to help usher the project through the local approval process and address questions from the public.

Since these homes were to be sold “as built”, OWN helped to design, size, and certify each home. OWN even assisted the developer with marketing materials, oversight, and operations manual.
