Citizens Memorial Healthcare

Expanded space for healthcare services to better serve a growing community.

Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri, is in need of more space. Built in the early 1980s, the main hospital facility is looking to expand to better serve the needs of the growing community.

The proposed expansion exceeds 130,000 square feet and the renovation is 23,000 square feet. The hospital will have a new Emergency Department, Cafeteria, Med/Surgery, Birth Place, ICU, Cath Lab, Surgery Department, and Laboratory.

OWN’s scope of services includes:

  • Site grading
  • Helicopter pad grading for relocation
  • Utility design and coordination
  • Parking lot reconfiguration
  • Additional ADA parking spots
  • Sewer lateral work
  • Water main extension
  • Land surveying
  • Geotechnical investigations.

As part of this project, CMH will be removing two or three existing driveways on Hwy 83/Oakland Ave. and OWN will be working with MoDOT to coordinate the design of a new intersection at Hwy 83/Oakland Ave. & W. Parkview St., along with new driveways and the redesign of the circle drive/drop-off area.

This project is a $77 million expansion and renovation project for the hospital facility. A parking lot expansion has been built on the North side of the site and ground was recently broken for the rest of the expansion.
